Warenna is a typical teenager in many ways. In one very big way, she's not. She's always known she was different, but there's a little bit more to it. She's a vampire--and her parents just told her.
A group of vampire victims, including Warenna's family, fight to retain as much of their humanity for as long as they possibly can. Their mission is threefold: to help each other keep from turning completely into vampires; to kill those who have; and to find a cure for their curse.
Warenna profoundly affects a "Norm." But is there more to Thomas than just another wannabe basketball player? He certainly seems to have at least as great an affect on Warenna as she does on him. Why have these two been brought together?
New author, Patrick Vaughn, presents a story so compelling you must keep reading. Where is he going with this? What will happen next? With style reminiscent of Dekker or Peretti, Vaughn takes us on an elegant ride with both imagination and direction.
The only thing lacking in this wonderfully told tale, is a higher level of editing. But you won't notice after the first couple of chapters. I promise.
Armchair Interviews says: Don't miss this story or this new author.
