Quick Knits Cool Projects is a book packed with more than 100 innovative knitting projects for beginning and experienced knitters. It includes patterns for fashion accents (scarves, hats, purses, totes and bags), summer-and-winter-weight sweaters, and afghans.

Each pattern includes the experience level needed to complete the item, the necessary materials, and concise, easy-to-follow directions. All of the projects include beautiful color photographs that will help jump start your enthusiasm.

Some of the projects that caught my eye are: a texture scarf made of soft yarn that requires big needles. The unisex scarf will add pizzazz to any man or woman's coat. The rainbow eyeglass case will make a great gift for you or someone you care about. The camisole is mouth watering and if you have any knitting experience, you'll want to try this pattern. My personal favorite is the tangerine smoothie sweater. It is on my list of must have. And for those cool fall and winter evenings, the afghans are a must see, must knit.

There is also a section of special techniques that will help knitters with those pesky fringes for scarves and afghans.

Armchair Interviews says: Quick Knits Cool Projects is a keeper.
