Laura Meade has always been fascinated with the Amish lifestyle, and studying interior design in Lancaster, Pennsylvania only increases her interest. When she meets Amish Eli Yoder, it only makes sense that they try to deny their growing feelings for one another.

Can someone who has always lived a life of convenience--with little regard to the spiritual element--build a life with someone who lives primarily for the spiritual?

In this third installment of Wanda Brunstatter's Brides of Lancaster County Series, readers can delve into the intricacies of crossing over from one lifestyle to another. Is love enough to make such a life change? Can families on either side ever make peace with the decision? Though the big things may have been thought through, it may be the little things that one never thought of that drive the relationship's fatal wedge.

The love and heartache really make readers pull for Eli and Laura and hope they can make it work. This was my favorite of the Brides of Lancaster County series.

Armchair Interviews says: This was an interesting take on facing differences in a relationship and what makes it worthwhile.
