The physical reconstruction of Kate Meadows began with a chance encounter with the crew of Change Magazine. She gets a make over and the attention of the makeup artist. His interest in the 'girl-next-door' type, and his desire to have the perfect woman on his arm, adds to Kate's self doubt.
Kate's work as a mural artist is getting a lot of attention, too. She is overbooked and overcommitted with barely enough time to breathe. She is pressured into accepting a big project in a pediatric burn unit at a local hospital--it's thee project to fund Kate's cosmetic surgery.
Add to this emotional mix her desire to nurture her newly found relationship with God...if only she had the time. Glimpses of bible verse while falling asleep, pleading prayers and distracted Sunday worship make up her attempts to grow closer to God.
When Mr. Right finally comes into focus, Kate is forced to decide where she will find her self worth--in the values of the world or in God's eyes. Making the later choice could end up costing her more than she wants to pay.
Armchair Interviews says: Difficult choices need to be made.
