(Book three in a series)

When the future threatens the past, Jake Tierny travels back in time to stop a traitor from tipping the scales in an alien war on Earth. Trapped in a time not his own, hunted by people who were his friends in the future, he is unknown to their present-day selves. To the soldiers and others at the Refarian base camp, Jake is an intruder, a stranger, and more importantly, a threat and a danger that must be eliminated. To make matters worse, he arrived too late, and his mission was unnecessary.

Hope Harper is a nearly blind linguist for the FBI. While learning the Refarian language and working on its translation, she starts to have feelings for one of the men, Scott Dillion. But she begins to doubt her morals or her senses when she crosses paths with Jake and feels a sizzling attraction that cannot be easily explained.

Parallel Seduction is at its core a love triangle, set amid invading shape-shifting aliens, spaceships, and time travel. The book is also part of a series, it is in fact book three. And while it can be read as a stand alone, I wouldn't recommend it. Instead, start with the first book in the series and save yourself the confusion and headache. It took two reads for me to understand exactly what the author was referencing and to make all the connections. But once I did, the story really took off.

Armchair Interviews says: Very fast paced, action packed and exciting. If you like a good twist, you'll appreciate the ending.
