Paige thinks she has it all figured out. She has her own company that is on the verge of being a complete success.
She has two loving sisters. Marie is older, married, and settled with children. Macy is irresponsible and flighty.
Paige also has loyal friends and her hairdresser, who she sees weekly. She even has three boyfriends that she juggles between her hectic schedule. The most important thing Paige has is commitment issues. Sadly, she is in denial about that fact until it is too late.
First there is Alvin. His main attraction is that he is great in bed. He also travels alot, so Paige actually gets a chance to miss him. The problem with Alvin is that he is a total mama’s boy and to compound things, his mama hates Paige with a vengeance.
Next we have Tyler, who is her best friend. Though she is physically attracted to Tyler, she won’t sleep with him for her own reasons. Tyler doesn’t seem to have any drawbacks, but he doesn’t have anything to put him at the top of the list either.
Finally, we have Marvin. Marvin is the fallback. When the other two are busy, Paige calls Marvin. Marvin is clingy.
Problems arise when all three boyfriends decide to take the relationship to the next level. How does a girl choose? Each time one proposes to her, she is so shocked and dismayed, she botches her refusals. By the end of the week she is engaged to three men.
Just when you think things couldn’t get worse, it does. This book had me laughing from the first chapter. Poor Paige tries so hard but botches everything in a way that makes you chuckle. The characters are so real they could actually be people you know. The sisters are shockingly blunt with each other, the hairdressers is an absolute diva, and boys are boys! This is a great read and the suspense keeps you from putting it down.
Armchair Interviews says: Even Paige doesn’t know what is going to happen next!
