Book's subtitle: 86 Red Hot Lessons on Love, Life, Men and (Especially Sex)
Kate White, the Editor In Chief of Cosmopolitan Magazine, has written a new self-help book for women about love, life, men and sex. Fans of Cosmo will feel familiar with this book. White has met and worked with numerous celebrities and she makes sure the reader knows this. The name-dropping is mixed in with the advice and can feel very out of place at times. White also mentions how she came to be Editor In Chief and how her career started.
Some of the topics that White discusses in the book are orgasms, sex positions, cheating, career advice, sex tricks, beauty tips, etc. The sex advice is the basic advice that you would find in any Cosmo magazine. At times the reader may wonder if this is just a compilation of articles from Cosmo, with Kate White's biography and name-dropping mixed in.
White has also written four mystery books, Over Her Dead Body, 'Till Death Do Us Part, A Body to Die For, and If Looks Could Kill. She also has written another self help book called, Why Good Girls Don't Get Ahead but Gutsy Girls Do: The Nine Secrets of Women Who Get Everything They Want.
White has a unique voice to her narration. Some may find it arrogant but others may see it as confident. She has worked hard to get where she is in her career and is an extremely proud woman. White looks to help women in life and love by writing self-help books and working for Cosmo magazine. She has a lot of advice to give and only hopes we use it to our advantage.
Armchair Interviews says: Recommended for young single women, who are looking to find a man and keep him.
