Daniel Cooper has seen something he wasn't meant to. But what does an orphan do when one of the city's most influential citizens--who is his boss and his uncle's good friend--seems to have played a part in a brutal murder? Further Daniel is torn between his own positive future outlook with this same man and knowledge of the man's true nature.

When Daniel feels he can no longer hide the truth, even those closest to him don't believe him, and even Daniel begins to doubt his own eyes. The chase that ensues leads everyone to the truth.

I couldn't put Fury down. This historical novel set during the Great Awakening was intriguing from the first line to the last. Daniel's desire to accomplish great things in life was perfectly complimented by the fact that those things looked to only be accomplished through the one man he was sure was trying to kill him. I also enjoyed that every character had two traits, the despicable and the redeeming, as do most of us. People are often more complex than portrayed in novels and Fury presented the exception. It makes me wonder why only now have I discovered this Great Awakenings Series.

Armchair Interviews says: Fury is an intriguing page turner that won't soon be forgotten.
