For Young Women Only: What You Need To Know About How Guys Think
Want to get into the head of that special guy in your life? Boyfriend's puzzling behavior got you stumped? Just want to be a better girlfriend or a better friend to the guys you know? You've come to the right place.
For Young Women Only is an insightful excursion into the minds of teenage boys. Thorough and well-researched, the information in the book is both informative and presented in a friendly, easy-to-read manner. Best of all, it is packed with eye-opening quotes from real teenage boys concerning the issues that are brought up in the book, issues such as" guys' self-esteem, their need for respect and encouragement, and--most interesting of all--what they think about girls.
For Young Women Only stresses the power teenage girls exert, often unwittingly, on the mental well-being of boys. Some of the information may be hard for some girls to swallow. Girls that like to follow fashion trends, for example, may be offended by a chapter urging teens to dress modestly to protect the minds of boys around them. Others may have such cherished preconceived notions about
how guys think that they may disagree with some of the conclusions made in the book. However, there is no getting around the truth. The key, girls, is to keep an open mind. Prepare to be surprised.
All in all, I would call For Young Women Only a well-written and much needed guide to the struggles, desires, and emotions of teenage boys.
Armchair Interviews says: Every girl should read this book at least once.
