Easy as 1-2-3 Crochet is a soft-cover needlecraft book with over 50 projects written about at the beginner level. The patterns are clear and concise and are accompanied by colored photographs to really give you a good idea of what the completed project should look like.
The book is divided into five sections: Accessories in a Snap, Great Gifts in a Dash, Wee Folk in a Wink, Home Accents in a Hurry, and Fashion in a Flash. The projects include: totes, scarves, afghans, skirts, sweaters, pillows, throws, baby and toddler clothing and more.
My favorite projects are: The Fabulous Felted Tote. It’s fun, fast and easy to do. Winter Warmers would be a perfect gift for that young woman in your life. The Linen Straps is a perfect way to package a shower gift of linens. The Bride’s Bag is beautiful and a keepsake. I adore the Dolman Sweater Set and suspect a grandchild will be the recipient of this project. The Patchwork Bolster Pillow is a great addition to your sofa.
I love the Great Gifts and Accessories in a Snap section, but felt that most of the adult clothing section was a bit dated.
Armchair Interviews says: A project craft book with some keeper patterns.
