Carmela LaVigna Coyle is one of my favorite children's authors. She has the ability to take a simple idea and morph it into a grand adventure for children.
Do Princesses Scrape Their Knees? is the third book in the Princess series. The Princesses' brother asks numerous questions of his sister and she answers them with her own explanations. But in the end we all learn the truth that Princesses can do anything they set their mind to.
The whimsical illustrations combined with the lyrical verses make this another winner for children.
If you want to give your princess a real gift, give her Do Princesses Scrape Their Knees? and then add Do Princesses Wear Hiking Boots? and Do Princesses Really Kiss Frogs?
