Dating Dead Men is Harley Jane Kozak's debut book in this promising new series that Janet Evanovich fans will love. If you like a book that has humor, romance, mystery, and great dialogue, then this book is for you!

I am a huge fan of humorous mysteries. This author is a former actress of three movies. She was in Parenthood, The Favor, and Arachnophobia. She currently lives in California. The sequel to Dating Dead Men is called Dating is Murder and it is currently available.

The story starts off with introducing us to Wollie Shelly. Wollie works in a card store and dreams of owning it herself. In the meantime, Wollie must find a way to make some money. Fredrique and Joey are Wollie's two best girlfriends who work with her. Fredrique is eccentric and wears leopard print tights with sneakers. Joey is a former actress and she's exotic with long red hair.

Wollie decides to do a research project where she will get paid $5,000 for participating. All she has to do is date 40 men in 60 days. How will Wollie do this and keep her sanity enough to run a business?

Wollie thinks she has everything in control until she receives a phone call from her brother P.B. who lives in a mental institution. P.B. witnessed a murder and Wollie isn't sure what she can or can't believe. When Wollie goes to investigate what happened at the mental institution, she becomes kidnapped by a man named Doc. What is going on at this institution? Who committed the murder? Will Wollie find out before it's too late and she loses her mind? Will Wollie complete the Dating Project and be able to solve this crime?
