Have you gone to a friend's home at Christmas and she has decorated it so beautifully, the food table is picture perfect and the food, scrumptious and special. You wonder: Did she hire all this done, or could she really have done it herself?

Christmas Decorating & Crafts
will make you become one of "those" people who set a beautiful table, greet people with warmth of special decorating from the front door into the house, and enjoy your guests.

Divided into four categories, the book and beautiful photography by Darwin Mulligan will help you decorate for each:

-- Elegant Christmas
-- Casual & Fun Christmas
-- Rustic Christmas
-- Kids' Christmas

All this is followed by easy-to-do craft projects that range from things you can make with children or grandchildren, to more elaborate projects. I especially liked the ones that used logs to make a candleholder, cinnamon for a napkin ring and a small log for a nametag.

The Kids' Christmas section should delight most everyone. Why NOT decorate our children's rooms with colored lights and special pillows, maybe special clothes for their favorite bear or doll. All kinds of children-focused crafts jump off the page and you think, "we could do that as a family."

Armchair Interviews says: Read the book and get then the family together to enjoy these decorating and craft ideas. Make your invite list and plan a party for friends or family.

From our armchair to yours...
