No child is too young to begin to instill the Word of God in his head and heart. Most people would agree, however, that the Bible can be complicated to read and understand even as adults. A great solution to this difficulty are children’s Bibles or, in this instance, a toddler Bible.
In Candle Bible for Toddlers: My Very First Bible, young readers are introduced to many of the better-known Bible stories all together in one book. This toddler Bible is a sturdily constructed board book made for heavy use and the abuse that toddlers tend to inflict on their books (or is it only my kids that think they should literally stand on their B-I-B-L-E?).
I would list the stories that are included in this book, but there are too many to mention. Suffice it to say that all the standard stories are in there, plus a few of the lesser known ones of both the Old and New Testaments.
A few times I questioned word choice, but nothing to make me avoid reading this sweet and finely illustrated board book.
Armchair Interviews agrees.
