Subtitled: Wild Wedding Photos You Were Never Meant to See
This small book is a collection of real-life pictures of brides drinking, fighting, or simply being goofy. You’ll also get to see a lot of dress malfunctions, Star Trek weddings, and tacky parties and cakes. Each photo comes with a caption, which sometimes doubles as a joke, giving the photo a completely different meaning.
The problem with the captions is that, despite trying, they’re not actually funny. Many are also so obscure that you’ll have a hard time trying to figure out what they really mean. For example, under the photo of a bride and bridesmaid singing karaoke, there’s a caption that reads: “How do you solve a problem like a bad bride?”
While the mix of black and white and color photos is nice, many of the pics are so blurry that it looks like they were downloaded from the Internet rather than printed from actual photos.
If you’re looking for a fun book to give to a new bride, this is not the right choice.
