Hatter uses this book to tell us that God always has a hand in her life, while traveling or at home. Her motorcycle is a tool used to tell people about God--and His plan for her, and us.

As a member of Christian Motorcycle Association, Gold Wing Road Riders Association in Texas, Hatter has been riding since 1972. She has three children and six grandchildren.

What is Christian motorcycling? It's enjoying the beauty of God's earth, and it's meeting others and sharing the joy of biking and their interest in spiritual things. It's rejoicing with others in your oneness with Christ. It's representing the good people who ride motorcycles. It's crossing that bridge today and receive all that God has in store for you.

While traveling, Hatter didn't always have a shelter for the night and repeatedly "shelter" would become available, given by strangers or received when none had been available. She cites Isaiah 4:5-6 (NASB) "...a canopy. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain."

Armchair Interviews says if you are a rider, you will especially enjoy Hilda Hatter's travel stories and how being Christian was a part of those travels.
