Cow has gone on a journey where he meets up with quite the assortment of strange creatures. In this land Cow encounters scary frogs, dogs that don't speak "cow" and swimming cats. Thankfully, a bird arrives to carry him home where he is greeted by his family, writes his book and becomes famous.
Adventures of Cow is flat-out hilarious. Cow is one confused squishy plastic creature, and boy, does he confuse others. The photographs and text perfectly complement one another to produce a humorous effect. Older children will find Cow's honking cats (geese) roll-off-Mom's-lap funny, but this isn't the book to buy if you want your children to learn their farm animals. If you are looking for a book to produce quality family time, this one will certainly open up the road for discussion with the six-and-under crowd.
Armchair Interviews says: A wonderfully entertaining book for the whole read-aloud family.
